Join us at our 2023 Holiday Social! 

We'll gather at the Oil Lamp Theater in Glenview for a League-only presentation of The Gift of the Magi.

  • 2 PM Social Hour Enjoy delicious holiday cookies and get a drink at the cash bar featuring "boozy" hot chocolate and other adult beverages.

  • 3 PM: The Gift of the Magi A young couple, Jim and Della, who are very much in love but facing financial hardships. As Christmas approaches, they both want to buy each other meaningful gifts but lack the necessary funds. This adaptation includes holiday musical interludes and illustrates the depth of love and the willingness to make sacrifices for the ones we care about. It is a classic tale that explores themes of selflessness, the true meaning of gift-giving, and the value of relationships.​​

  • Theater capacity - 60.  We'll sell tickets to League members through November 1.  We'll then open sales up to family members.  Buy your ticket early!
