Positions
Leagues at every level -- national, state and local -- take positions based on study and consensus among members. The League uses these positions to advocate for public policy changes.

Our League has positions related to Glencoe and Glenview. Each is a differently governed community and, as such, has its own unique positions.

Our League focuses its advocacy on these specific issues important to our communities and of interest to our members.

The League of Women Voters advocates for issues that its membership chooses.
In order to advocate for an issue, the League must have a position that has been adopted at the state or federal level or studied and come to consensus on as a local League.
